Geron Sands, a former college and professional baseball player, brings a wealth of expertise with over 20 years of coaching experience. Over the past 14 years, he has trained and developed 50+ minor league players, 2 MLB athletes, and countless collegiate stars, including top prospects like Jazz Chisholm (New York Yankees), Kristian Robinson, and Sebastian Walcott, the #1 prospect for the Texas Rangers.
As Co-Owner of I-ELITE Sports Academy (Bahamas), Head Coach of the Bahamas National Team, and a baseball agent representing amateur and professional players, Sands specializes in defense, hitting, and athlete mentorship. I-ELITE also offers a school with boarding options, combining education and elite training to help players succeed both on and off

ALBERT CARTWRIGHT CO-FOUNDER
Albert Cartwright, a Bahamian baseball player born in Nassau, Bahamas, is a key figure in the development of I-ELITE. Drafted by the Houston Astros in the 2007 MLB Draft, Cartwright has an extensive playing and coaching career. He represented Great Britain in the World Baseball Classic (WBC) and later served as the First Base Coach for Great Britain in the WBC.
As a co-founder of I-ELITE, Cartwright has worked with top prospects such as Sebastian Walcott and MLB star Jazz Chisholm, contributing to their growth and success. His commitment to baseball development and passion for mentoring young athletes has made a significant impact on the academy and its players.
AVARD HART – COACH
Avard Hart is a former college baseball player and passionate baseball enthusiast dedicated to player development. A proud I-ELITE alumnus (Class of 2016), Hart has played for the Bahamas National Team and now serves as the General Manager of the team.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and expertise as an Infield Specialist, Hart brings valuable knowledge and leadership to I-ELITE, helping athletes refine their skills and reach their full potential.
